Send Care Packages to Work from Home (WFH) Employees

Now more than ever we are seeing an increase of employees that work from home or remotely connect to their place of work. This poses challenges in staying connected to your employees, having luncheons to celebrate a milestone or event. No more bringing in doughnuts or bagels for the team to help get the day started.

Gift Baskets with Style is here to help. It has become very popular for companies, managers and team leads to send each of their remote employees a care package or gift basket. Sending care packages to work from home employees offers a means of staying connected and allowing the WFH employee to feel appreciated and very much part of the team.

Work from home employees love our care packages. We offer care packages featuring chocolate, sweet and savory snacks, meats and cheeses as well as tea or coffee care packages. If you would like to send something more substantial we have plenty of gift baskets to send your work from home employees. We have gift baskets and care packages for your WFH employees that will meet any budget.

Send care packages to work from home employees to help stay connected and boost morale!

Provide opportunities for remote social interaction: One of the most essential steps a manager can take is to structure ways for employees to interact socially (that is, have informal conversations about non-work topics) while working remotely. This is true for all remote workers, but particularly so for workers who have been abruptly transitioned out of the office.

The easiest way to establish some basic social interaction is to leave some time at the beginning of team calls just for non-work items (e.g., “We’re going to spend the first few minutes just catching up with each other. How was your weekend?”). Other options include virtual pizza parties (in which pizza is delivered to all team members at the time of a videoconference), or virtual office parties (in which party “care packages” can be sent in advance to be opened and enjoyed simultaneously). While these types of events may sound artificial or forced, experienced managers of remote workers (and the workers themselves) report that virtual events help reduce feelings of isolation, promoting a sense of belonging.
